Disturbed is a hard rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The group was formed in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve "Fuzz" Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired singer David Draiman. They have sold over 10 million albums worldwide, and released three consecutive #1 albums. More notably, only six other rock bands have released three #1 albums in a row. These bands include Van Halen, Pearl Jam, U2, Dave Matthews Band, Staind, and Metallica. Originally classified as a nu metal band, they are now regarded as alternative metal. Papa Roach is a four-piece rock band from Vacaville, California. They broke into the mainstream with their three times platinum major-label debut album Infest (2000). The group's success continued with later releases Lovehatetragedy (2002) and Getting Away with Murder (2004). The group's fourth major album, The Paramour Sessions, was released on September 12, 2006. Their new album, Metamorphosis, will be released on August 26, 2008.
