Kellie Shanygne Williams (born March 22, 1976 in Washington, D.C., USA) is an American actress, singer, and rapper best known for her role as Laura Winslow on the television series Family Matters. Kellie appeared on the series for its entire run, from its initial air date in late 1989 to the summer of 1998. After the show, Kellie began acting in the ABC television show What About Joan. She also starred in the urban teen films Ride (1999) and In the Mix (2005). She had a recurring role on Moesha from 1996 to 1999 as Moesha's cousin, Sharisse. She also has appeared on Girlfriends, The Parkers, and Eve. |
